Join Rural Action, Appalachian Ohio Restore Corps, ODNR’s Ohio Outdoor Corps and ServeOhio on Saturday, January 20, 2024 from 9am-4pm at The People of Color Museum in Tablertown!  If interested in volunteering, please sign up here by the evening of Monday, January 15, as space is limited.  There are four different shifts and volunteers can sign up for as many as they want.  Read on for more details!

In this event, volunteers will be able to learn about the history of the Tablertown and continue to reflect on the legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., while helping with a variety of activities around the area such as cleaning out the building of the new museum site, assisting with cleaning up the cemetery and beautifying the existing museum’s site.  All equipment will be provided the day of. We will have a warming station and we recommend wearing close-toed shoes. Dress for the weather as most activities will take place outside.

Can’t be there that day? Sign up for a ‘virtual’ volunteering opportunity! In honor of community coming together, we will be having a structured potluck. Please sign up here and help provide food for our volunteers that day.
